After sorting through 52 folders and thousands of pictures I have moved and edited 186 pictures which I took from December 2010 until last week June 14, 2011. It is amazing to see how much things have changed at Iola Roberts in such a relatively short amount of time.

Welcome to Green's Games

Welcome and thank you for visiting! 


This blog was created by me, Coach Green, in order to keep track of things happening in physical education, PE, as well as other activities at Iola Roberts Elementary School. 


If you have never visited Iola Roberts then you simply do not know what you are missing! This school is comprised of kindergarten through fourth grades and is filled with fabulous students and faculty members. Here you will find students eager to learn and have fun and a group of teachers who love each and every child. 


Things are very exciting at Iola right now because this summer we are getting a complete makeover! A new gym, music room, and four new classrooms have been built. This summer the old gym is being transformed into the new office and library. The old office is being transformed into a new counseling area and the lunchroom, bathrooms, and each classroom are getting a complete overhaul. Basically, every inch of Iola Roberts is either brand new or being renovated this summer! I have been taking pictures since all of this began in December of 2010. I am working to compile a good snapshot of the transformation we are going through and plan to share those pictures here in the coming weeks. It is quite remarkable to see where we were, we currently are, and imagine where we are headed! Iola has always been a special place and the building will finally represent the magnificent students and faculty who are within its walls.
